MEET DJ FREEMAN

Djfreeman’s musical roots range from Teddy Pendergrass to Tom Petty, Tupac, and Jodeci through to today’s artists like Drake, G-eazy and the Chain-Smokers. This allows djfreeman to create versatile sets that appeal to a variety of clients and events.

Djfreeman is the stage name of Chris Freeman. Chris is another successful student of legendary San Diego artist DJ Artistic. Djfreeman started his DJ career in 2013, he has spun at some of San Diego’s most popular clubs, including u31, thrusters, shore club, saloon Encinitas and Understory. He has over 50 weddings to his credit and is the resident dj for the La Jolla Playhouse.

A 15- year background in nightlife as a bartender and manager has allowed Chris to see events from a different point of view. He has seen the intricacies of what makes an event successful and fun for the guests and he has put this knowledge into practice.
